Project Engineer (Electrical)

• Study construction drawings, IFC documents, specifications, and project scope.
• Develop work schedules, manpower plans, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other discipline engineers to avoid conflicts.
• Participate in technical meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• LV/MV distribution systems
• Cable routing, trays, trunking & conduits
• Lighting & small power installation
• Earthing & lightning protection systems
• Fire alarm and ELV systems
• Ensure installations follow approved shop drawings, method statements, and codes.
• Manage site teams, technicians, and subcontractors for timely execution.
• Prepare shop drawings, load schedules, cable sizing, and BOQs.
• Review and submit material submittals, method statements, and design clarifications.
• Issue RFIs and resolve technical discrepancies in coordination with consultants.
• Supervise testing of electrical equipment such as panels, cables, breakers, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with consultants for inspections, approvals, and final handover.
• Close out snag lists and ensure smooth project completion.
• Maintain site logs, inspection requests (IRs), MIRs, checklists, and reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documents.
