Project Electrical Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction/oil & gas sector. The candidate must have hands-on ADNOC project experience and be capable of executing electrical engineering works in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage all electrical engineering activities for assigned construction and oil & gas projects.
- Review and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, guidelines, and specifications.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, designs, material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Assist in preparing project documentation including reports, RFIs, NCR responses, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure all project activities follow HSE procedures and ADNOC-approved safety standards.
- Participate in technical meetings and resolve engineering and site-related issues.
- Monitor material procurement and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within construction/EPC industries.
- Mandatory ADNOC project experience (onshore/offshore preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems.
- Experience in site supervision, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering software and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC processes.
