Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out with 3 to 5 years of UAE experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site activities for interior fit-out projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and material submittals
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Prepare work schedules and monitor progress against project timelines
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, QA/QC standards, and HSE requirements
• Manage site resources including manpower, materials, and equipment
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues
• Support project handover and snagging activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of proven experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of fit-out works (partitions, ceilings, joinery, finishes, MEP coordination)
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and approvals
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
