Project Engineer - Joinery Background Only

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing Analysis: Review and interpret detailed shop drawings, material specifications, and architectural plans.
• Production & Site Coordination: Bridge the gap between factory joinery production (cutting, assembly, polishing) and onsite installation to ensure smooth execution.
• Quality Control: Inspect joinery items for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications and high-end finishing standards.
• Project Planning: Plan and schedule project activities, ensuring material procurement and production meet project timelines.
• Documentation: Prepare material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests (IR).
• Site Management: Oversee site installations, managing teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in joinery or high-end interior fit-out projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery materials (timber, veneer, MDF), joinery techniques, and site installation processes.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (MS Project is often required).
• Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for managing sub-contractors and stakeholders.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per hour
