The purpose of this job is to plan, organize and provide supervision for the daily operations and activities in assigned projects and oversee the daily/weekly organization, utilization and reporting process for manpower, materials, machinery and equipment on site. The Project Engineer will direct, or coordinate activities of supervisors, foremen and workers engaged in the project. In this role you ensure that you have the right workforce at sites and projects are completed within timelines and budget.


  • Review of project scope of work and plan activities as per project plan
  • Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
  • Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
  • Develop a detailed project plan and track its progress
  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
  • To forecast requirements for Labour, discuss and agree all Labour requirements with Project Manager to ensure that Labour costs relate to tender allowances
  • Checking plans, IFC & shop drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
  • Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per contract specifications
  • Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, safety officers, representatives of MEP division and the general workforce involved in the project
  • Execute daily operations of monitoring the work executed by the site team at site and prepare interims and completion project reports
  • Responsible for onsite Health & Safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately
