PROJECT ENGINEER MANAGER

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Engineer Manager who combines strong engineering and project management expertise with the ability to deliver excellent sales presentations and client pitches. The role is responsible for managing projects from pre-contract to execution while actively supporting business development, client acquisition, and project negotiations in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Project Management

• Lead and manage engineering and construction activities across assigned projects
• Plan project execution, schedules, manpower, and resources
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), contract documents, and approved drawings
• Coordinate civil, MEP, architectural, and structural teams
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities (Ashghal, MME, Kahramaa, QCDD)
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost control, and risk management
• Ensure implementation of HSE policies as per Qatar regulations

Sales, Client Relations & Business Development

• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, technical proposals, and project pitches to clients
• Support pre-contract activities, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and value engineering
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and negotiations to secure new projects
• Clearly explain technical solutions, timelines, and cost benefits to non-technical clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Assist in tender evaluations, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
• Represent the company professionally in business meetings and presentations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or Mechanical/Electrical for MEP-focused roles)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering/management in Qatar or GCC
• Proven ability to deliver effective sales pitches and client presentations
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority processes
• Experience in pre-contract, tendering, and project execution
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project/Primavera, and presentation tools
• Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage but not required)
• Valid QID
• Qatar Driving License (optional)
