PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL- MEP CONSTRUCTION

Asian Falcons Engineering Contracting LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our MEP Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all mechanical engineering activities related to HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery in terms of quality, safety, schedule, and budget.

This position is ideal for a proactive engineer with strong technical expertise and proven experience in UAE MEP contracting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical MEP systems including:
• HVAC Systems
• Plumbing Systems
• Drainage Systems
• Fire Fighting Systems
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Participate in project planning, manpower allocation, and resource management.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing material specifications and technical compliance.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare technical and project status reports.
• Manage testing, commissioning, authority inspections, and project handover activities.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues to avoid project delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in MEP Construction Projects.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience within MEP Contracting Companies.
• Strong practical experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Proven experience managing site execution activities on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, engineering standards, and construction practices.
