Project Engineer (MEP)

Job Title: Safety, MEP & QC Executive

#About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Safety, MEP & QC Executive to oversee on-site safety, monitor MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works, and ensure overall quality control. The candidate should be detail-oriented, disciplined, and capable of maintaining site standards in coordination with the project team.

#Experience: 2–4 years in construction, MEP, Safety & quality management roles

#Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Safety

#Location: Currently in Kolkata & Nearby Area

#Salary Range: ₹3.5 – ₹4.2 Lakh per Annum & based on the knowledge

#Availability(optional):- Staying near Kolkata Location & has own Bike

#Required Skills:

1. Knowledge of MEP layouts, installations, and testing standards

2. Familiar with QA/QC documentation, material inspection, and testing procedures.

3. Awareness of IS codes, HSE standards, and statutory requirements.

4. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and report documentation

5. Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills

6. Ability to handle on-site supervision and ensure compliance across teams

#Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor all site safety procedures, PPE usage, and Periodic toolbox meetings.

Identify and correct unsafe acts/conditions; maintain all safety inspections and incident documentation.

Inspect Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical (MEP) works as per approved drawings and technical specifications.

Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with IS codes, standards, and approved vendor lists.

Conduct periodic quality checks on civil and MEP works.

Verify work execution as per method statements, drawings, and technical requirements.

Maintain documentation for safety, quality, and MEP inspections, NCRs, and test results.

Support/Inspect on testing and commissioning of MEP installations and systems.

Liaise with contractors, consultants, and third-party agencies to coordinate inspections and audits.

Prepare daily progress, quality, and safety reports using MS Excel and Word.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
