Project Engineer (MEP)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Engineer to manage and deliver MEP works for residential and commercial building projects. The role involves overseeing design coordination, site execution, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP project execution from initiation to handover
• Coordinate with HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Civil, and Architectural teams
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.)
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and resource allocation
• Supervise site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines
• Manage subcontractors and vendors
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and project handover
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues (clash detection)
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation
• Support cost control, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7–12 years of experience in MEP contracting (UAE/GCC preferred)
• Strong experience in residential and commercial building projects
• Sound knowledge of:
• MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
• Local authority regulations and approvals
• Project planning and execution
• Experience handling high-rise or large-scale projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team management capability.
