Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution Support
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of MEP works across projects.
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating site activities from mobilization to handover.
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor daily progress and provide timely updates to management.
Site Coordination & Supervision
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and technicians.
- Ensure smooth execution of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
- Resolve day-to-day site issues in coordination with senior engineers and project managers.
- Ensure proper coordination between MEP, civil, and other disciplines.
Technical Review & Engineering Support
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, consultant requirements, and UAE standards.
- Support technical problem-solving during site execution.
- Assist in resolving design conflicts and site challenges.
Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress and highlight delays, risks, and critical issues.
- Assist in preparing work schedules, look-ahead plans, and progress reports.
- Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
- Provide regular updates to management.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all MEP works comply with QA/QC standards and project specifications.
- Support implementation of HSE policies and site safety procedures.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams for corrective actions when required.
Materials & Procurement Coordination
- Assist in tracking material requests, procurement status, and deliveries.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for material availability.
- Verify materials against approved specifications.
- Monitor site requirements to avoid delays due to shortages.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Assist in testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
- Coordinate final inspections and project close-out activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of UAE experience in MEP project execution or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
- Good understanding of UAE authority regulations and construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project coordination tools.
- UAE Driving License is an advantage.
