Euro Mechanical is looking for a Project Engineer with strong design coordination experience from engineering consultancy/PMC environments to support ADNOC projects.
This role focuses on engineering design coordination across FEED and detailed design phases, working closely with consultants, vendors, procurement, and construction teams to ensure technical alignment and constructability.
Key Responsibilities

Follow up with engineering consultants and vendors to ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables, technical documents, and design updates.

Generate, coordinate & finalise the EDDR, MDR and vendor VDRL document requirements.

Participate & coordinate 3D model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) with construction teams, highlighting clashes, constructability issues, and required design modifications.

Facilitate technical discussions between engineering consultants, procurement teams, and company representatives to resolve TQs, SQs, and vendor clarifications during the procurement process.

Support procurement by reviewing vendor technical submissions, ensuring alignment with project specifications and ADNOC standards.

Participate in HSE design workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS), ensuring all safety-related actions are incorporated into the design model.

Track and close out all design-related action points from HSE workshops, model reviews, and coordination meetings.

Ensure the design model reflects accurate, constructible, and safe engineering solutions before IFC stage.

Coordinate with construction teams to address site queries, ensure design intent is understood, and support resolution of field issues.

Maintain continuous communication with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

Prepare technical coordination reports, follow-up logs, and progress updates for management and client review.
Technical Competencies

Strong understanding of FEED and detailed design workflows.

Experience in 3D model review platforms (E3D, Navisworks, PDMS, BIM tools).

Knowledge of ADNOC standards, specifications, and engineering procedures.

Familiarity with procurement technical processes (TQs, vendor data review, compliance checks).

Ability to identify design clashes, constructability issues, and safety gaps in 3D models.

Understanding of HSE design requirements and workshop methodologies.

Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related).

8+ years of experience in engineering consultancy or PMC coordination roles.

Experience working on ADNOC oil & gas projects.
-
Strong background in design coordination, vendor follow-up, and construction interface.
Important Note
This role is design coordination-focused. Candidates with pure EPC execution, site, QA/QC, or planning backgrounds may not be suitable.
