Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team. This is a remote position based in the UAE, offering the opportunity to work on exciting international projects with a renowned Swiss company. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in managing engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring all technical and operational aspects are executed according to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects remotely, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and project goals are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Review technical drawings, designs, and specifications, providing feedback to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Oversee procurement processes, managing vendors and ensuring quality control of materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, generating reports and updates for senior management.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
• Conduct remote site visits (if required) and coordinate virtual meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other stakeholders throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• At least 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management, preferably in [specify industry, e.g., construction, technology, etc.].
• Strong technical background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Familiarity with remote work tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Slack).
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience in international or cross-border projects is a plus.
