Project Engineer / Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out to support ongoing commercial and mixed-use projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in interior fit-out execution, site coordination, subcontractor management, and quality control within fast-paced project environments.

This role requires a proactive professional capable of ensuring project delivery within schedule, scope, and quality standards while maintaining strict compliance with HSE regulations.

Location: Msheireb & City Center, Qatar
Employment Type: Contract (6 Months – Extendable)
Salary: QAR 6,500 (All-Inclusive)

Working hours :-10 hrs a day & 6 days in a week

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day interior fit-out site activities.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and workforce to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, designers, MEP/HVAC teams, and suppliers.
• Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control compliance.
• Manage snagging, de-snagging, and project handover processes.
• Ensure proper material approvals, delivery coordination, and site resource management.
• Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Attend client meetings and provide project updates when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out projects in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of site execution, project coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Experience handling commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or government fit-out projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and HSE regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
• Transferable visa / Immediate or short-term availability preferred.
