Role Summary
The Project Engineer will play a critical role in executing utility-scale solar ground mount power plants, ensuring smooth coordination between site execution, engineering design, and project management teams. The role focuses on on-site execution, technical supervision, and project coordination.
Primary Duties
- Oversee daily site activities for ground mount solar installations.
- Coordinate foundation works, MMS erection, module installation, and electrical works.
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance, site manpower, and material usage.
- Support planning and scheduling to meet project milestones.
- Identify execution challenges and provide engineering solutions.
- Maintain site documentation, checklists, and progress records.
- Assist in pre-commissioning, testing, and final commissioning activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.
Technical Knowledge Required
- Ground mount solar plant construction workflow
- Solar MMS & foundation systems (RCC / pile / pedestal)
- DC/AC cabling, earthing, lightning protection
- Basic understanding of HT/LT works
- Ability to read construction drawings and electrical SLDs
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in solar ground mount EPC projects
- Strong site coordination and execution skills
- Practical problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in outdoor project environments
- Ready to travel and stay at project locations when required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
