Project Engineer - Swimming Pool Experience

We are looking for a skilled Swimming Pool Project Engineer to handle the complete execution of swimming pool projects from start to finish. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of swimming pool systems, good project management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

• Manage swimming pool projects from planning stage through to final handover.
• Prepare project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality requirements.

Technical Coordination

• Work closely with architects, designers, consultants, and MEP engineers.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Ensure proper execution of design and technical requirements on site.

Site & Construction Management

• Oversee all stages of pool construction including excavation, structural works, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing.
• Supervise installation of pool systems such as pumps, filters, piping, drainage, lighting, and circulation systems.
• Ensure proper execution of balancing tanks and hydraulic systems.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings and standards.
• Follow UAE authority regulations, including Dubai Municipality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues on time.

Cost Control & Procurement

• Assist with material take-offs and BOQ preparation.
• Support procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and highlight any variations or overruns.

Coordination & Communication

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants for approvals and updates.
• Ensure smooth communication between all project stakeholders.

Health & Safety

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe working practices.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain proper project documentation, including inspections and approvals.
• Track progress, risks, and any project delays.

Testing & Handover

• Oversee testing and commissioning of all pool systems.
• Ensure smooth final handover to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in swimming pool construction (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of pool systems, waterproofing, and MEP coordination.
• Experience with pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and dosing systems.
• Ability to read drawings and BOQs.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving ability.
• UAE driving license preferred.

Preferred

• Experience in luxury villas, hotels, or large swimming pool projects.
• Knowledge of water treatment systems and hydraulic systems.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
