Job Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing switchgear manufacturing projects within defined scope, timelines, and budgets. The role involves coordination with engineering, production, procurement, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery in compliance with client requirements, technical specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute switchgear projects from order confirmation to final handover.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and quality departments to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and timelines; take corrective actions when required.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for project coordination and updates.
- Ensure compliance with IEC standards, customer specifications, and company quality policies.
- Oversee factory inspections, testing (FAT), dispatch, and site installation support when required.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and MIS.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and project safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in switchgear manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, panels, protection systems, and testing procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Sound understanding of switchgear manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
