Project & Estimation Engineer - Mechanical with Experience in Fire Fighting Products

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Fire Fighting- Project Estimation & Design Engineer Fire Fighting will be responsible for designing & estimation of fire protection equipment, meeting project requirements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Proficiency in Autocad- Mechanical- Mandatory

• Review the RFQ’s & tenders and interpret client requirements, collect and analyze project-specific technical and commercial data.
• Prepare BOQ and send out RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers and manufacturers
• Provide support in tender preparation, cost estimation, technical clarifications etc.,
• Design of various firefighting systems, including hydrants, sprinklers, related components & perform basic engineering calculations and coordinate designs with cross-functional teams in line with oil & gas industry standards.
• Develop and prepare detailed design documents, tender packages, bill of quantities, scopes of work, and execution drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Design & Estimation Engineering for firefighting in Oil & Gas Industry preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Hands on experience in Project Design & Estimation for firefighting in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Experience with project management and scheduling tools is a plus..
