Project Estimator –Commercial Multi/Single Family Cabinets & Countertops

Company Overview
We are a fast-growing cabinet and countertop company seeking to hire a full time Project Estimator to handle Commercial Multi-Family, Restaurant, Office and Single-Family Home Builders from quoting through shop drawings. Candidate must have at least 2 years of designing, drawing and pricing of cabinet and countertop experience.

As a Project Estimator you will be responsible for:

· Reading blueprints, prepare take-offs through complete quoting process

· Order entry and customer service follow-up

· Working with trade professionals and their clients, to quote Multifamily and Residential, Single Family projects as well as other Commercial projects

· Designing kitchens, bathrooms, bars, offices etc. using 20/20 software

· Quoting and managing the full cycle ordering process for all projects from inception to completion

· Maintaining pricing and merchandising

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must have previous take-off experience and be able to thrive in a team environment. Project estimation skills and project management are highly desirable but not required. We are looking for highly organized professional individuals that are passionate about design, creative problem solvers, and success driven.

The ideal Project Estimator will also have:

· Bachelor or Associate’s Degree in Interior Design preferred

· 2 years of reading blueprints /take-off experience

· Minimum of 1 year of experience creating designs with 20/20 software

· Minimum of 2 years of experience creating designs with AutoCad

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word and experience using email

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

· Ability to communicate professionally with staff and customers in a courteous, tactful and concise manner

· Eagerness to learn, grow, and improve skills

· Multi Family/Single Family residential and commercial contract experience would be a plus

· Experience creating Schedule of Values

· Site measuring experience would be a plus

· Experience follow project specifications would be a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
