• Our projects require accurate costing, proper planning, strong coordination, and quality execution.
• We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to prepare accurate project estimates, quotations, and cost breakdowns.

The Estimator will be responsible for:

• Preparing accurate project quotations.
• Calculating the full expected project cost.
• Estimating materials, labor, subcontractor costs, timelines, logistics, and wastage.
• Calculating the expected project spend and expected profit.
• Helping the company quote projects competitively while protecting profitability.
• Supporting management with clear cost breakdowns before project approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project estimates for renovation, fit-out, maintenance, and construction-related works.
• Create quotations, BOQs, cost breakdowns, and scope-of-work documents.
• Calculate required materials, labor, subcontractors, timelines, logistics, and site costs.
• Estimate the total project spend and expected project earnings.
• Review drawings, layouts, measurements, specifications, and client requirements.
• Conduct site visits when needed to check measurements and project conditions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to get updated prices.
• Compare supplier prices and recommend cost-effective options.
• Work with project managers, procurement, operations, and management.
• Prepare variation costs and revised quotations when the project scope changes.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, supplier prices, and approved quotations.
• Identify missing scope, cost risks, unrealistic timelines, or possible budget overruns.
• Support management in pricing strategy, margin planning, and project feasibility.
• Compare estimated costs versus actual project costs after completion to improve future estimates.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Cost Estimator, or similar role.
• Experience in renovation, fit-out, civil works, MEP, joinery, finishing, or construction is preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to prepare BOQs, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and quotations.
• Good understanding of materials, labor, subcontractor pricing, and project timelines.
• Ability to read drawings, layouts, measurements, and technical documents.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or estimation software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good supplier coordination and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple quotations.
• Good English communication skills.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
