The Interior Design Project Manager – Head is responsible for leading and overseeing complete project execution—from concept to handover. This role ensures all interior design projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating with clients, design teams, vendors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Leadership & Planning

• Lead multiple interior design projects simultaneously.
• Develop project timelines, schedules, and execution plans.
• Conduct site visits for progress monitoring and quality checking.

2. Client Management

• Understand client requirements, budgets, and expectations.
• Present design concepts, materials, and project updates.
• Handle revisions, communication, and approvals.

3. Team Management

• Oversee designers, site supervisors, vendors, and contractors.
• Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct team meetings and performance reviews.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare project estimates and BOQs.
• Approve material selections within the budget.
• Track expenses and avoid cost overruns.

5. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Manage subcontractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc.
• Ensure materials and labor are available as per schedule.
• Resolve onsite issues swiftly.

6. Quality & Safety Management

• Ensure all work meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain site safety protocols and compliance rules.
• Conduct final inspections before project handover.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture (preferred).
• 5–12 years of experience in interior project management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, drawings, and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / SketchUp / MS Project (added advantage).
• Ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and multi-tasking.
