Project Head Engineer

The Project Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring work is executed as per design, quality, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work progress as per schedule.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, contractors, and vendors for smooth site execution.
• Ensure that all construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, material requirement lists, and work schedules.
• Check and verify measurements and quantities for billing and documentation purposes.
• Monitor labor productivity and ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular quality and safety inspections at the site.
• Assist in resolving any technical or site-related issues.
• Liaise with design and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Support the project team in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in site execution (residential/commercial/infrastructure projects).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
