Project HSSE Manager – Oil & Gas, Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project HSSE Manager to lead and manage all Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) activities for a major Oil & Gas project in the UAE.

The ideal candidate must have strong EPC project exposure and experience managing large site teams under strict international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement project HSSE strategy aligned with company and client requirements
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards
• Develop and monitor HSSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks
• Coordinate with client representatives and regulatory authorities
• Manage and mentor HSSE team members across site
• Ensure implementation of PTW (Permit to Work) systems
• Monitor KPIs and prepare HSSE reports for management

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Safety Management
• NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
• NEBOSH Diploma / IOSH / OSHA Certification (Preferred)
• 12+ years of HSSE experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Minimum 5 years as Project HSSE Manager
• Strong EPC / ADNOC project experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of UAE HSSE regulations
• Experience handling large workforce (1000+ manpower preferred)

• Contractor & Subcontractor Safety Management
• Strong leadership & communication skills

Preferred Experience

• ADNOC Approval is an advantage
• Experience in onshore Oil & Gas construction projects.
