Project Lead

Job Purpose: The Project Lead will be responsible for supervision of the assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality specifications, cost control and timely completion.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Delivery:

  • Lead and manage base build projects for large MNC clients.
  • Oversee a project built-up area of approximately 1 million square feet.
  • Deliver projects in line with specifications, budget, schedule, risk management, documentation management, and quality standards.

Team Management:

  • Manage an in-house team.
  • Supervise a PMC team.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of project delivery and base building.
  • Have working knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to quality processes and standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Conduct weekly, fortnightly, and monthly meetings with key project stakeholders.
  • Manage senior and executive-level stakeholders and corporate real estate teams.
  • Oversee smooth transition from project completion to operations.

Risk and Documentation Management:

  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage project documentation and reporting.


Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • BE (Civil or Mechanical) with a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale base build projects.
  • Exposure and experience working with quality systems and process



Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Effective verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to build and strengthen partnerships – Engage, negotiate & collaborate effectively with service partners and contract management.
  • Strong project development and project management experience in new build and fit out of commercial office premises with robust understanding of project financing and cashflow.
  • Solutions mindset with ability to get solutions implemented - Capturing and acting on insightful information
  • In-depth understanding of commercial property operations, building engineering management and maintenance, and occupier relationships and technically proficient to engage effectively with internal teams & partners
  • Awareness of industry best practices and latest trends
  • Knowledge of building codes and sustainability practices
