Project Lead - Mechanical Projects

The Project Lead – Mechanical Projects is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing mechanical engineering / industrial construction projects within schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role involves coordination with clients, engineering teams, procurement, site execution teams, subcontractors, and management to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate project planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and resource management.
• Review mechanical drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documents.
• Supervise installation, fabrication, erection, piping, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical offers and material requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, technical meetings, and progress review meetings.
• Ensure all mechanical works are completed as per approved drawings and standards.
• Manage project documentation, billing support, and handover activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical projects, industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of project execution methodologies and site management.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office is an advantage.
• Familiarity with safety standards and quality control procedures.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
