Job Overview

Colaval, a leading global manufacturer specialising in high-quality control valves and water treatment solutions, is seeking a diligent and organised Project Manager to join our team. This is a Full-Time position based at our office in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is crucial for coordinating with our technical teams and clients to deliver the effective solutions and professional services our company is known for. The offered salary for this position is $45 - $60 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary management.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, manufacturing staff, and other stakeholders, to ensure clear communication and progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate potential project risks and issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with industry regulations and Colaval’s high-quality standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports and project outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification would be a significant advantage.
  • Experience within the water treatment or valve manufacturing industry is beneficial but not essential.
