MEP Project manager

Job Purpose:

The MEP Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for construction projects, ensuring successful execution within budget, timeline, quality, and safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, leadership skills, and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and manage MEP project execution from inception to handover.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, and manpower planning for timely completion.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and ensure profitability of the project.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and health & safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement activities for timely delivery of materials/services.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve technical and contractual issues to avoid project delays.
• Ensure proper project documentation, QA/QC, and smooth handover to the client.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in MEP construction, with at least 8 years of managerial experience in UAE .
• Proven track record of managing large-scale building projects (High-rise / Commercial / Residential / Mixed-use).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.
