Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and coordinate various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma, and will have experience in change management and program development. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record of successful project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones through effective time management.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
- Oversee the project management lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to PMBOK standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any identified issues.
- Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project for tracking progress and managing resources.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including process mapping, requirements analysis, and quality management plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Implement budgeting strategies and cost control measures to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through effective conflict management and team leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management with a strong understanding of various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma).
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data analysis and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Proficiency in project portfolio management tools such as Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or Basecamp.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects is preferred; experience in IT project management is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective presentation of ideas and negotiation with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage risks proactively while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations is desirable.
