Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and implementation of software projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Establish and track project milestones, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, and ensure team members have the resources and support to succeed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project status and updates.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer and stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded by managing scope, quality, and delivery.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Escalate problems when necessary and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Monitor and control project changes, ensuring that any scope changes are properly managed and documented.
Quality and Process Improvement:
- Ensure all software deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous testing and reviews.
- Implement and promote best practices, processes, and tools to improve software development and project management efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate project management methodologies and tools to enhance productivity.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all phases of the project.
- Generate and deliver project reports, including progress tracking, resource allocation, and financial status.

Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 4 years experience in IT industry (Development or QA) with at least 2 years managing Agile projects (Scrum or Kanban)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience managing at least 5-8 members’ cross functional team (including Developers, QA and Designers)
- Good understand of DevOps concepts with hands-on experience of tools like Jenkins
- Experience creating detailed Project Plans, WBS, and Project Roadmap
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, Clickup
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of standard development processes and ability to define and refine processes as per company and project needs.
- Ability to identify the training needs and arrange training sessions accordingly.
- Any relevant certification like PMP, ACP, or CSM will be a big plus.
