Interior Project Manager – Turnkey Projects
Job Summary
The Interior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior turnkey projects from inception to handover. This includes design coordination, procurement, site management, cost control, and client interaction. The role requires strong technical knowledge of civil, MEP, and interior works, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver projects within time, cost, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and in-house teams.
- Define scope of work and ensure alignment with client requirements.
2. Design & Technical Oversight
- Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, IS standards, and green building norms.
- Coordinate MEP, HVAC, fire safety, and civil works integration with interiors.
3. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Prepare material requirement plans based on approved designs.
- Float enquiries, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Track deliveries and maintain material registers for accountability.
4. Execution & Site Management
- Supervise site works, monitor manpower deployment, and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Conduct daily site inspections, progress reviews, and snag checks.
- Ensure quality control of finishes, joinery, partitions, flooring, false ceiling, etc.
5. Cost & Budget Control
- Track project budgets, certify vendor bills, and control overheads.
- Manage variations, NT items, and client approvals.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and forecasts.
6. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as single point of contact for the client.
- Conduct regular review meetings and provide progress updates.
- Address client concerns and ensure smooth handover.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Implement EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices on site.
- Ensure statutory compliances like CEIG, fire NOCs, and occupancy approvals.
- Maintain documentation – site diaries, checklists, handover reports.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of turnkey interiors – civil, MEP, HVAC, furniture, and finishes.
- Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and Excel trackers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in interior fit-out / turnkey project management.
- Proven track record of handling IT offices, corporate interiors, or commercial projects.

- Timely project delivery as per schedule.
- Adherence to budget and approved BOQ.
- Client satisfaction & repeat business.
- Minimal snags at handover stage.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
