The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the complete execution and delivery of civil construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing client relationships, overseeing site execution, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and coordinating all project activities to achieve timely and cost-effective completion. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure that the project objectives align with company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
· Manage the project as a whole — from planning and execution to handover.
· Oversee and coordinate between clients, company staff, subcontractors, and labour teams to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
· Handle client and contractor billing, liaising with PMC for billing verification, checking, and quality compliance.
· Supervise actual execution on site, ensuring all works are carried out with high quality, safety, and efficiency.
· Monitor and track project progress, manpower, and material requirements to maintain timelines.
· Identify, evaluate, and engage labour contractors as per project needs.
· Ensure all client and Hetu paperwork requirements are completed accurately and on time.
· Conduct detailed study of drawings, prepare working sequences, and coordinate activities proactively.
· Anticipate extra items, deviations, and claims, present solutions and communicate them in advance to management and clients.
· Uphold the company’s values by leading with honesty, punctuality, and dedication, setting an example for the entire project team.
· Ensure compliance with standard civil engineering practices, building codes, and statutory regulations.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)
· Minimum 10–15 years of proven experience in managing large-scale civil construction projects (preferably industrial, commercial, or residential).
· Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and quality standards.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
· Understanding of billing procedures, quantity estimation, and BOQ management.
· Familiarity with contract documentation, tendering, and vendor management.
