Description

We are seeking a versatile Project Manager who excels at managing a broad range of responsibilities across three main domains: finance/budget management, agile practice improvement, and telecom expense management. The ideal candidate is a generalist and adaptable—comfortable with dynamic environments, able to support multiple teams, and ready to take on special projects as needed. Telecom experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance and budget teams to manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.

• Support reporting, forecasting, and budget reconciliation for ongoing and special projects.

• Coordinate project management tasks for telecom expense management, scrum masters, finance/budget teams, and.

• Manage telecom expense processes, including handling large volumes of telecom bills and supporting special telecom-related projects.

• Negotiate with telecom carriers over billing disputes, credits, and improved pricing

• Oversee and enhance agile practices across teams, supporting scrum masters and facilitating process improvements.

• Lead regular meetings to assess progress, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

• Document and track project status, next steps, and deliverables.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Escalate issues to management promptly and proactively.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, maintaining clear and timely communication.

• Thrive in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic environment, adapting to shifting priorities and requirements.

• Lead cross-functional discussions to resolve issues and drive results.

• Create tooling in PowerBI, Jira, Confluence, etc to improve awareness, simplify complexity, and reduce time-to-decisioning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in diverse environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and financial/budget management.
• Telecom expense management experience is a plus.
• Ability to negotiate with vendors/carriers.
• Comfortable with hybrid work arrangements; must be local to the area.
• Client-facing experience and ability to build strong relationships.
• Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in fast-paced settings.
• Goal-directed, persistent, and driven to achieve positive outcomes.
• Potential to become a full-time team member within a year (position intended to backfill a current team member).

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience supporting scrum masters, finance/budget teams, and telecom expense management.
• Familiarity with processing large volumes of telecom bills.
• Professional certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) are a plus but not required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.64 - $65.00 per hour
