Project Manager – Construction (Abu Dhabi - UAE)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will manage project planning, execution, budget control, quality assurance, safety, and stakeholder communication while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Identify critical milestones and sequencing of work
- Coordinate with design, estimation, and procurement teams
- Oversee daily construction activities and track progress
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure 100% adherence to quality and safety standards
- Conduct inspections with QC teams and review checklists
- Address defects and enforce corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Resolve issues within agreed timelines
- Lead meetings, visits, and review discussions
- Ensure customer satisfaction and manage expectations
Resource & Team Management
- Lead Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity
- Conduct meetings, reviews, and training
- Ensure effective allocation of manpower and equipment
Warehouse & Material Management
- Ensure timely availability of materials
- Approve material dispatch and track usage
- Minimize material wastage through proper planning
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for deliveries
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
- Monitor expenses and approve invoices
- Manage change orders, claims, and variations
- Maintain project profitability
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Maintain accurate project records and dashboards
- Ensure all as-built drawings and handover documents are completed
- Prepare reports for management and client reviews
Project Close-Out & Handover
- Conduct final inspections and complete punch list items
- Ensure proper documentation, warranties, and manuals
- Secure client approvals and final sign-off
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills
- Knowledge of project management tools, QA/QC procedures, and HSE regulations
- Experience handling subcontractors, procurement, and site operations
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
