Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT) to oversee IT operations, database server management, e-Office support, cloud administration, VM creation, and overall technical coordination for the department. The candidate will handle multiple infrastructure projects, ensure smooth functioning of IT systems, and provide support to various subordinate offices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer database servers, including daily monitoring and maintenance.
2. Oversee e-Office operations in DAHD and provide support to all subordinate offices.
3. Manage and support Email services, e-HRMS/Sparrow portal, DA Admin Console, Biometric Attendance, and Livestock Census databases, AWS Cloud, Suse Linux 10, Citrix Unix, Fedora, AIX OS, and other cloud/OS environments.
4. Provide complete IT support across the department.
5. Manage and configure backup solutions based on user requirements.
6. Handle LVM management, including creation and resizing of partitions.
7. Create new VMs and manage partitions as per application needs.
8. Create and manage YUM repositories and antivirus deployment for servers and user systems in DAHD & DOF.
9. Perform OS hardening, manage SELinux settings, and resolve related issues.
10. Install and configure MySQL database packages and manage DB servers, Apache Server based on website requirements.
11. Update and configure new patches and RPM packages on RHEL 6 / RHEL 7.9 web and database servers.

Required Qualifications:

1. MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc (CS/IT), M.Sc Computer Science, B.E (IT/CSE) with (*Minimum 50% marks). *
2. Knowledge of Apache Server, VM creation, LVM, SELinux, and OS hardening.

Required Skills:

1. Strong experience in IT infrastructure management and server administration.
2. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Linux OS (SUSE, RHEL, Fedora), AIX, and Citrix Unix.
3. Proficiency in database management (MySQL) and patch updates.
4. Familiarity with e-Office systems, biometric attendance, and departmental IT support.
5. Ability to troubleshoot complex server and application issues.
6. Strong project coordination and leadership skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹82,000.00 - ₹88,000.00 per month
