Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing steel structure / PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) projects from initiation to completion. The role involves managing site activities, ensuring timely material supply, supervising contractors, maintaining cost control, and delivering the project as per drawings, quality standards, and safety norms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare detailed project schedules including fabrication, supply, and erection timelines.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and fabrication teams to ensure project readiness.
- Forecast material requirements and ensure timely dispatches to site.
2. Site Coordination & Execution
- Monitor day-to-day site progress for structure erection, sheeting, civil interfaces, and finishing works.
- Ensure installation is done as per approved drawings, safety norms, and quality standards.
- Resolve on-site issues related to alignment, fitment, or material shortages.
3. Client & Contractor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct regular review meetings and provide progress reports.
- Manage labour contractors, equipment operators (Hydra, cranes), and ensure adequate manpower at site.
4. Quality & Safety Control
- Implement QC checks for fabrication, welding, bolting, and sheeting works.
- Ensure proper safety practices at site; maintain checklists and daily logs.
5. Cost, Billing & Documentation
- Track project budgets and control cost overruns.
- Prepare RA bills, material reconciliation, and site reports.
- Maintain documentation such as work orders, drawings, variation statements, and final handover files.
6. Completion & Handover
- Oversee snag removal, testing, and final completion activities.
- Ensure project is handed over with complete documentation and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in PEB / steel structure project management.
- Strong understanding of steel structures, sheeting, mezzanine systems, and civil coordination.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, Autocad reading.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple sites and travel as needed.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
