PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, budget, and schedule (including critical path).
• Team & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; manage client expectations and hold teams accountable.
• Resource Management: Secure permits, negotiate contracts, acquire materials, and manage workforce and equipment.
• Execution & Oversight: Supervise daily site activities, direct work, ensure quality, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Risk & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards, and adapt to real-time issues.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports for property owners.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Often a degree in Building Studies, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or significant trade experience.
• Experience: Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
