As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in San Antonio and help us strengthen our position as the construction industrys preferred ceiling and specialty contractor.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing, planning, organizing, monitoring, and coordinating the installation activities for multiple projects. You will oversee the completion of each project according to specifications, schedule, and budget. You will also handle contracts, change orders, purchase orders, submittals, and pay applications. This position requires someone who can work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism, proactive behavior, and excellent communication skills.
Coordinate with Estimator: Ensure that project scopes and values are fully understood and aligned.
Review Project Awards: Assess the scope, quantities, and budget for new projects.
Reconcile Budget Errors: Identify estimating discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
Oversee Project Assistants: Support job setup and ensure processes are running smoothly.
Manage Purchase Orders: Approve all job-related purchase orders, ensuring correct items, quantities, packaging, and pricing.
Manage Job Activities: Oversee contracts, budgets, proposals, schedule of values (SOV), change orders, RFIs, and bonds.
Supervise Submittals and Shop Drawings: Ensure all documentation aligns with project needs.
Jobsite Visits: Interact with clients, field crews, and check on safety and quality at job sites.
Monitor Project Timelines: Ensure that work and costs are submitted in the appropriate month and deadlines are met.
Budget Management: Regularly review project budget reports and address any issues that arise.
Assist Field Superintendents: Support job material tracking and scheduling to meet job commitments.
Attend Client and Industry Events: Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
Project Reviews: Conduct audits and analysis at job completion, submitting reports to management.
Provide Training: Cross-train staff in other departments as necessary.
Additional duties may be assigned by Senior Project Managers, Branch Manager, Director of Operations, or President.
Subcontractors
This role is primarily indoors in a smoke-free environment.
Physical Demands include the ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods, and perform movements such as crouching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and carry materials up multiple flights of stairs.
Must have command of all five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste.

Two years of experience in project management or supervision within construction or a related field.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and construction materials.
Strong communication skills for customer interaction and collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to guide and manage Project Assistants and other support staff.
Solid understanding of commercial construction terms and procedures (RFI, ASI, COR, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Experience in ceiling, drywall, flooring, or specialty construction fields.
Field experience is a plus.
Familiarity with On Center On-Screen Takeoff software or similar tools.
College degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
