AV Project Manager

Embark is seeking a detail-driven and solutions-oriented AV Project Manager to oversee commercial audiovisual and structured cabling projects from start to finish. You'll coordinate internal teams, interface with clients and contractors, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery — all while being part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage multiple AV integration and low-voltage projects across corporate, education, and institutional sectors
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, general contractors, and site supervisors
- Conduct site walks, attend construction meetings, and resolve issues proactively
- Track project progress, generate documentation, and manage scope changes
- Ensure safety compliance, material procurement, and accurate project closeout
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of project management experience in AV, construction, IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of AV systems, structured cabling, and job site logistics
- Ability to read technical drawings, construction schedules, and specifications
- Excellent communication, time management, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
Bonus Points:
- CTS, PMP, OSHA 30, or manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSC)
- Experience in design-build AV or technology integration environments
- Familiarity with RFI, submittals, and construction documentation
