Job Title: Project Manager - Mechanical

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 + Benefits (DOE)

About the Role:

My client is a well-established mechanical contractor in Houston delivering commercial HVAC and plumbing projects across sectors including healthcare, education, and large-scale commercial builds. They are looking to bring in a Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical projects across HVAC and/or plumbing scopes from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and overall project delivery
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful execution
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with scope
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and procurement of materials
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience working for a mechanical contractor (HVAC and/or plumbing)
• Proven track record delivering commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
