Project Manager

Required skills and experience

Experience:

12 to 15 years of experience required.

• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum project management
• Experience managing data platform or web application projects
• Preferably Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent —must be comfortable running sprints with a technical team
• Demonstrated experience managing fixed-scope, fixed-timeline government or public sector technology contracts
• Strong experience managing client-side stakeholder relationships
• Experience managing deliverable-based contracts where formal sign-off is required at each milestone
• Solid understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle
• Experience coordinating with client IT departments (infrastructure provisioning, security reviews, deployment approvals)
• Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
• Strong written communication — status reports, risk logs, meeting notes, and change requests will be reviewed by Commonwealth stakeholders

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent
• Experience delivering open data, data portal, or data platform projects
• Background in or exposure to energy, environmental, or government data domains
• Experience managing post-go-live support periods and warranty transition handovers

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
