Construction project managers (CPMs) lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety, budget, and schedule, often acting as the main point of liaison between clients, architects, and contractors. Key duties involve cost estimation, scheduling, subcontractor management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Core Roles and Responsibilities and you have Knowledge Trakhees
· Planning & Scheduling: Defining project scope, developing detailed schedules, and planning operational resources.
· Budgeting & Cost Control: Estimating costs, managing budgets, and approving expenses to ensure financial viability.
· Safety & Risk Management: Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and mitigating project risks.
· Contract Administration: Managing subcontractor agreements, verifying project specifications, and coordinating work scopes.
· Team Leadership: Hiring staff, organizing subcontractors, and leading on-site personnel.
· Reporting & Communication: Providing regular performance reports to stakeholders and facilitating team meetings.
Common Competencies & Tools
· Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience: Often requires 10 to 15 years of experience or an engineering/construction degree.
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per hour
