Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager at Maison Hospitality, based at our Lake Elsinore, CA headquarters. The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination across domestic production, import procurement, client communications, and logistics — ensuring that every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the exact specifications our clients expect. The ideal candidate brings a deep appreciation for hospitality design, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to manage complex, multi-track projects with composure and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from initiation through final delivery, managing multiple active accounts simultaneously across both domestic manufacturing and import supply channels.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams — including factory production, import procurement, design, and logistics — ensuring seamless information flow at every stage.
- Obtain and submit shop drawings and finish samples to clients for approval; communicate revision requirements between clients and production; redline and edit AutoCAD drawings as needed to facilitate sign-off.
- Collaborate with clients to select specialty items including hardware, stone, COM/COL fabrics, and custom finishes; prepare and distribute approval documents in a timely manner.
- Monitor domestic factory production schedules and coordinate with import operations teams to align delivery timelines and manage lead times effectively.
- Maintain organized and complete project folders — both physical and networked — containing all correspondence, approvals, specifications, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Communicate production and delivery deadlines to all relevant departments; proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and receiving teams to oversee inbound import logistics and domestic shipments.
- Inspect finished products against client specifications and quality standards prior to release or shipment.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant working environment in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
- Contribute to overall team performance through proactive problem-solving, cross-departmental support, and a strong service mindset.
- Available to work overtime as project demands require.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2-year college degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Hospitality Design, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the furniture, interior design, hospitality purchasing, or closely related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and finish specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- Ability to read, mark up, and communicate on AutoCAD drawings.
- Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding follow-through and attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-directed with the ability to operate under minimal supervision.
- Dependable, adaptable, and collaborative with a strong work ethic.
Preferred
- Experience coordinating with overseas factories or managing import procurement timelines.
- Background in hospitality FF&E project management or purchasing
- Familiarity with customs documentation, freight logistics, or supply chain coordination.
