Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology and application development projects on time and within scope. This job will collaborate closely with software developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, stakeholder management, Agile & Scrum methodologies, budget tracking, resource management, critical thinking, attention to detail, follow-through, and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
· 1–3 years of hands-on experience in project management, with exposure to software or application development projects.
· PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master [CSM / PSM] certification, or active pursuit of certification.
· Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application development processes. (Preferably, hands-on experience as a developer, QA analyst, or in another technical role prior to transitioning to project management.)
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; familiarity with sprint-based delivery cycles.
· Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or MS Project. (Preferably, knowledge of change management principles and practices.)
· Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based application platforms.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences. (Preferably, experience with stakeholder reporting and executive-level communication.)
· Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with developers, designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
· Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for application development and technology initiatives, from initiation through deployment and closure.
· Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
· Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports using standard PM tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
· Facilitate weekly meetings, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
· Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
· Serve as the primary point of contact between development teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
· Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and progress against milestones.
· Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Waterfall or hybrid) appropriate to each project.
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, change requests, and lessons learned.
· Support continuous process improvement initiatives across the project management practice.
· Develop and maintain trust and positive relationships with Restore Hope partners and stakeholders.
· Advocate for individuals and families.
· Participate in Restore Hope meetings and training.
· Promote organization and community collaboration.
· Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with the professional standards of Restore Hope.
· Other job duties as assigned.
