Position Overview
Coeur d’Alene Painting Group is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial painting projects from start to finish. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, safely, and to the quality standards our company is known for throughout North Idaho.

This role is designed to help support field operations, improve communication between crews and clients, and continue building systems that allow our leadership team to operate more efficiently as the company grows.
Responsibilities Project Oversight
- Manage residential and commercial painting projects from start to finish
- Coordinate scheduling with Field Operations Manager and production crews
- Ensure projects stay on timeline and within budget expectations
- Conduct regular site visits and quality control inspections
- Oversee project completion punch lists and customer walkthroughs
- Ensure proper job documentation, photos, and communication are maintained
Client Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during active projects
- Maintain professional and timely communication with homeowners, contractors, superintendents, and vendors
- Address client concerns quickly and professionally
- Build long-term relationships that reflect the company’s reputation and values
Team Leadership
- Support crew leaders and painters in the field
- Help maintain accountability, organization, and professionalism on job sites
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture
- Assist with training and development of field employees
- Encourage safe, clean, and organized job sites
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
- Maintain strong attention to detail throughout every phase of production
- Enforce company safety procedures and jobsite compliance
- Help identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Review project scopes and job budgets
- Assist with estimating support and change orders when needed
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries
- Track project progress and communicate updates internally
- Utilize company systems such as Smartsheets, scheduling software, and job tracking tools
Qualifications
- Experience in painting, construction, or project management preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to stay calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and communication
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to represent the company with integrity and professionalism

Pay: $54,766.53 - $65,955.39 per year
