Position Overview

Seeking a senior-level Project Manager to support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) initiative.

This role will manage a system enhancement project to expand reporting capabilities for program area users. The PM will oversee a vendor development team, coordinate with internal technical teams, and manage schedule, scope, and budget.

This is a state government enterprise data initiative, requiring strong experience in large-scale data management projects and agile delivery environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle (initiation to closure)

• Oversee vendor software development team

• Coordinate with internal software teams

• Partner with program stakeholders

• Manage schedule, budget, and scope

• Ensure reporting enhancements are delivered successfully

• Develop and maintain project documentation

• Deliver Texas Project Delivery Framework artifacts (preferred)

• Ensure compliance with state governance standards

Required Experience

• 8+ years Project Management

• 8+ years managing enterprise-scale data management projects

• 8+ years managing agile projects in state/federal government environments

• PMP Certification (Required – must be listed on resume)

Preferred Experience

• Jira or Micro Focus Project Management tools

• Texas Project Delivery Framework (TPDF)

• Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, etc.)

• Government health or analytics systems exposure
