Project Manager (6135)

itD is seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives and manage complex, high-value engagements that drive business growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership, along with a proven track record of successfully executing large-scale, complex initiatives within the technology sector.

Location: Remote within the US but preferred locations are: EST/CT Chicago, Florida, RTP, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, multi-faceted projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and closure.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, facilitating strategic discussions and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive project success.
• Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and key decisions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while developing contingency plans and escalating issues when necessary.
• Contribute to process improvements by refining project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance to ensure successful delivery.

Internal Responsibilities:

• Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
• Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
• Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
• Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
• Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
• Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 5–7+ years of experience in project management, including managing complex or large-scale initiatives within the technology sector.
• Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects or engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering effective solutions.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, or Jira.
• Experience with stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and project reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Experience working in enterprise technology environments or with large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, security solutions, or enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
