We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage architectural tasks from concept to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in architectural workflows, coordination with design teams, understanding of drawings, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that all architectural deliverables are completed on time, accurately, and in alignment with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and task allocations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, draftsmen, and external consultants.
- Manage resource planning and ensure projects progress smoothly.
- Conduct project initiation meetings to define scopes and expectations.
2. Architectural Task Management
- Oversee preparation of architectural drawings, 2D/3D models, and documentation.
- Review and validate layouts, sections, elevations, details, and BOQs.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of all architectural deliverables.
- Maintain consistency in drawings, standards, templates, and naming conventions.
3. Communication & Client Handling
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams.
- Prepare and present project updates, progress reports, and coordination summaries.
- Handle client feedback, revisions, and change requests professionally.
4. Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior, and landscape teams for integrated project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and design guidelines.
- Identify design conflicts and provide solutions or escalate where required.
5. Monitoring & Quality Control
- Ensure deadlines, milestones, and quality benchmarks are met.
- Maintain project databases, documentation, and version control.
- Conduct final QA/QC checks on deliverables before client submission.
6. Risk & Issue Management
- Identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks early and implement corrective actions.
- Track variations, scope changes, and their impact on timelines or budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–7 years of project management experience in architectural or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, or similar architectural tools (enough to review, not necessarily produce).
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and detailing.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, ClickUp, MS Project, etc.) is a plus.
