The Project Manager Assistant will provide assistance to the Department Manager & Project Managers or the Department with regards to any aspect of the project. Ideal candidate has strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Is highly organized, detailed oriented, ambitious, and driven. Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and step out of their comfort zone. The Project Manager Assistant works well as a team player but is also able to take initiative when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Review job with project management team
  • Learn & administer Word, Excel, Auto-quotes & Netsuites programs.
  • Gather request for information materials & gives to PM's
  • Reviews change orders with PM's.
  • Coordinate installers
  • Bill of lading requests
  • Review fulfillment
  • Check-in equipment when delivered
  • Review critical path and procurement with PM and installer
  • Goes to jobsite with PM
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Prior project management experience desired.
  • Office skills and efficient in English & Math.
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented.
  • Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Construction and or food industry preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
