Role Summar
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, coordination, procurement follow-ups, documentation, and site supervision across all phases of EPC project execution. The APM ensures field activities meet safety, quality, schedule, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist in preparing work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and manpower plans.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, and site teams.
- Track progress against milestones and update daily/weekly reports.
- Follow up on technical drawings, approvals, and design clarifications.
Procurement & Vendor Follow-up
- Prepare material indents, BOQ verification, and technical data sheets follow-up.
- Coordinate with vendors for material delivery schedules, inspections, dispatches.
- Track inventory, verify MRN/MTC, and ensure material traceability.
- Support subcontractor evaluation, documentation, and billing certification.
Site Execution & Monitoring
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Support contractors and supervisors in planning resources and sequencing work.
- Raise site technical queries (TQs) and follow up for resolutions.
- Record daily progress, hindrances, delays, and work fronts.
Documentation & Billing
- Assist in preparation of RA bills, measurement sheets, MOMs, and client documentation.
- Support contract administration: change requests, variations, claims, project correspondence.
- Ensure proper maintenance of quality documents, test records, inspection reports, and daily logs.
HSE & Quality Compliance
- Ensure site work follows safety procedures and statutory guidelines.
- Participate in toolbox talks, quality inspections, and compliance audits.
- Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover Support
- Assist in coordinating testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, test certificates, and handover documents.
- Ensure closure of punch lists and project completion checklist.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of EPC process: engineering → procurement → construction → commissioning.
- Basic knowledge of contracts, BOQ, billing, QA/QC, and safety.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera (basic), AutoCAD reading, MS Office.
- Ability to multitask at site and handle vendor/subcontractor coordination.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./ B. Tech (Electrical) based on project type.
- Experience: 3–6 years in EPC projects supporting PM/site roles.
- Certifications (optional): Primavera, PMP foundation, Safety Awareness.

Pay: ₹28,624.82 - ₹40,210.73 per month
