Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Regulatory Reporting and/or GAAP Reporting within the Banking or Financial Services domain.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage end-to-end project delivery while driving detailed business analysis, financial reporting initiatives, and regulatory compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead full project lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring, closure)
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Maintain RAID logs and provide executive status reporting
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, Business, Technology)
• Drive UAT, release planning, and implementation oversight
• Ensure regulatory and reporting deadlines are met

Business Analysis

• Gather and document requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories)
• Translate regulatory/GAAP requirements into functional specifications
• Perform financial data analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation
• Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and requirement traceability
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Banking or Financial Services
• Hands-on experience with Regulatory Reporting and/or GAAP Reporting
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting processes and controls
• Experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile/Waterfall environments

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, Federal Reserve regulations
• Experience with reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Data platforms)
• Experience working in large financial institutions
• PMP or related certification

Alternate Qualification

Strong Finance Domain Business Analysts with proven project management experience will also be considered.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
