Position: Project Manager – Civil Construction (High-Rise & Infrastructure Projects)
Qualification Requirements:
- Education:
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- M.E / M.Tech in Construction Management or Structural Engineering (preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 15–20 years in civil construction, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in high-rise building and infrastructure (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.) projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling (MS Project / Primavera)
- Knowledge of structural and architectural drawings, quantity surveying, and material management
- Familiarity with relevant IS codes, safety norms, and quality control procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ERP systems (for project documentation & billing)
Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Execution
- Prepare and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
- Coordinate design reviews, tendering, and subcontractor finalization.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress to meet delivery targets.
2. Site Management & Supervision
- Lead site teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain construction quality and safety.
- Resolve on-site technical or coordination issues promptly.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with consultants, architects, and clients for project approvals and progress reviews.
- Coordinate with internal departments – Design, Procurement, QS, and Accounts.
- Prepare and present progress reports and MIS updates to management.
4. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project cost estimates and BOQs.
- Approve and verify subcontractor bills and material reconciliation.
- Ensure adherence to financial and contractual terms.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.
- Ensure statutory compliance with labor, safety, and environmental laws.
- Conduct safety tool-box talks and ensure PPE compliance on site.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and material consumption records.
- Prepare project close-out documentation, including as-built drawings and completion certificates.
